Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Researcher to support our business by identifying, validating, and enriching high-quality SaaS/product/startups company data.
As a key member of the team at Uplers, you will be responsible for conducting secondary research to identify target companies (SaaS/product/startups), gathering and validating data from platforms like LinkedIn, Wellfound, Cutshort, Instahyre, etc., maintaining and updating databases with accurate company and contact information, identifying decision-makers (CXOs, Hiring Managers) and enriching lead data. Ensure data hygiene, deduplication, and accuracy while working closely with the Sales/BD team to provide high-intent prospect lists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary research to identify target companies (SaaS/product/startups).
- Gather and validate data from platforms like LinkedIn, Wellfound, Cutshort, Instahyre, etc.
- Maintain and update databases with accurate company and contact information.
- Identify decision-makers (CXOs, Hiring Managers) and enrich lead data.
- Ensure data hygiene, deduplication, and accuracy.
- Work closely with the Sales/BD team to provide high-intent prospect lists.
- Track metrics such as industry, funding stage, employee size, tech stack, etc.
Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience in research, lead generation, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and online research techniques.
- Good Google Sheets Skills (filters, Pivot Tables Preferred).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with targets.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS/startup ecosystem.
- Experience using tools like Apollo, ContactOut, Tracxn, Lusha, etc.
KPIs:
- Accuracy rate of data (≥95%)
- Number of validated leads/research entries per week
- Turnaround time for research requests
