Description

Join the dynamic and innovative TransPerfect TechOps team as a Database Administrator. This role is pivotal in ensuring our databases are highly available, optimized for performance, and disaster-recovery friendly. You will collaborate closely with senior developers to design, test, protect, and implement database solutions that streamline operations across our GlobalLink platform.

Your responsibilities include managing locking, process blocking, and performance tuning of our databases while creating and maintaining high availability and disaster recovery strategies. You’ll oversee backup and restoration processes, develop monitoring tools, and ensure robust infrastructure management through a proactive approach to prevent potential issues.

As part of the team, you will create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development. Additionally, you’ll design, develop, and maintain relational database reports using SSRS, ensuring high-quality data insights for all stakeholders.

Required skills include advanced understanding of MSSQL architecture, proficiency with SSMS and SSRS, and a strong background in optimizing databases and implementing HA/DR strategies. Experience with cloud database storage technologies is highly valued. This role demands an analytical mindset to break down complex problems and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
