Description
AKAS Medical Equipment, a leading medical equipment manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for embedded systems used in cutting-edge medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and debug firmware using Embedded C/C++
- Work with microcontrollers and processor-based systems to ensure seamless operation of medical equipment
- Develop and integrate communication protocols for efficient data transfer between devices and external systems
- Handle hardware interfacing including GPIO, Interrupts, PWM, and EEPROM operations
- Implement effective memory management techniques to optimize device performance
- Develop and maintain device drivers for various medical equipment components
- Follow structured coding standards and documentation practices for clarity and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues to ensure robust device functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D and hardware teams to drive project success
- Stay updated on the latest embedded technologies and continuously improve technical knowledge
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong foundation in C Programming & Embedded C (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of communication protocols, memory organization, and controller/processor architecture
- Exposure to RTOS and Embedded Linux is preferred
- Good understanding of application-level system design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Educational Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechatronics, or Biotechnology from eligible batches 2022-2024
