We are seeking a seasoned Part Time Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining APIs and microservices, designing and optimizing database architectures, building and scaling distributed systems, and collaborating with remote teams to deliver backend solutions. Your contributions will significantly impact the scalability and reliability of our system design.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and Maintaining APIs and Microservices: You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing robust, efficient, and secure microservices that integrate seamlessly with other components of our platform.
• Designing and Optimizing Database Architectures: Ensure database performance and scalability by optimizing schema design and query performance. Work closely with frontend developers to understand data needs and provide efficient solutions.
• Building and Scaling Distributed Systems: Design and implement scalable distributed systems that can handle large volumes of data and high user loads, ensuring consistent performance across all services.
• Collaborating with Remote Teams: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to implement backend solutions that meet business objectives.
• Contribute to Scalable and Reliable System Design: Participate in design discussions and contribute to creating a robust and scalable architecture that can support future growth and innovation.
