Trellix is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer Intern who will play a critical role in our innovative cybersecurity team. As part of this dynamic internship, you will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the development and improvement of our open and native XDR platform.

At Trellix, you will:

• Understand domain: Get a deep understanding of cybersecurity domains and our products.
• Codebase Familiarization: Gain familiarity with our codebase and improve your programming skills through practical application.
• Core Technologies Training: Receive comprehensive training on core and futuristic technologies, applying them to real-world projects.
• Module Development & Testing: Write code for specific modules, develop unit tests, and ensure quality through rigorous testing processes.
• Design Meetings & Bug Fixes: Attend design meetings, fix bugs, and assist the team in all design-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ and data structures. Additionally, experience with operating systems, networking fundamentals, Linux scripting, and design patterns will be beneficial. A passion for problem-solving, analytical reasoning skills, and excellent communication abilities are also crucial to thrive in this role.
