Job Summary

pWe are seeking an Applications Engineer or Chemist to join our team. This role bridges the gap between research and development (R&D) and customer production, focusing on material selection, troubleshooting process issues, and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Select appropriate plastic or rubber materials for specific applications
  • Conduct and interpret material characterization tests such as tensile strength and hardness
  • Troubleshoot molding, extrusion, and curing defects in production processes
  • Optimize process parameters to improve performance
  • Provide technical support to customers through trials and practical solutions
  • Collaborate with R&D on developing new polymer compounds and improving existing formulations
  • Create comprehensive technical reports and SOPs for documentation purposes
