Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Back End Developer to join our dynamic team at PWM Alternatives, an innovative division within the investment banking sector. As a full-stack engineer with expertise in Java and MongoDB, you will contribute significantly to the development of cutting-edge platforms for wealth management and financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust micro-services using Java.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features in our wealth management platform.
• Ensure seamless integration of UI components built in Angular or React with backend services.
• Leverage GitLab for continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize code for scalability and efficiency.

In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. You must have a deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices and be proficient in deploying systems using DevOps tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience developing micro-services with Java and familiarity with non-SQL technologies like MongoDB.
• A track record of successful implementation using GitLab for devOps.
• Familiarity with full software development lifecycle and ability to drive project milestones while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
