Highlights
AI & Wellness Intelligence, Equity-Based Opportunity, Tech-Enabled Wellness Ecosystem
Description
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive meaningful change in the wellness industry? Join our innovative team as a Data Scientist, where your expertise will be instrumental in shaping a structured, tech-enabled wellness ecosystem across nine key areas: Physical Wellness, Nutritional & Metabolic Wellness, Mental & Emotional Wellness, Sleep & Recovery Wellness, Sexual & Reproductive Wellness, Financial Wellness, Tech & Digital Wellness, Social & Relationship Wellness, and Occupational / Corporate Wellness. As part of our early-stage platform development, you will design and architect the AI backbone that captures behavioral and health data, generates structured insights, personalizes recommendations, creates predictive wellness scoring, and supports outcome measurement.
Your Role: You will be responsible for defining structured data collection frameworks, designing scoring systems (Wellness Index, Risk Score, Progress Score), creating multi-dimensional user profiling models, developing measurable outcome metrics. Additionally, you will build rule-based + ML-based recommendation systems to personalize meal plans and recovery suggestions, design predictive alerts, and implement feedback learning loops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & Modeling: Define structured data collection frameworks across all 9 wellness areas, design scoring systems (Wellness Index, Risk Score, Progress Score), create multi-dimensional user profiling models, develop measurable outcome metrics.
- AI & Recommendation Engine: Build rule-based + ML-based recommendation systems to personalize meal plans and recovery suggestions, design predictive alerts (burnout risk, sleep deficit risk, metabolic imbalance patterns), implement feedback learning loops.
- Analytics & Insight Layer: Create structured reporting dashboards, build user segmentation logic, design engagement prediction models, measure intervention effectiveness.
- Long-Term AI Vision: Develop adaptive behavior change models, explore NLP modules for user inputs, design future-ready AI health assistant architecture, ensure scalability and privacy compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4-8+ years of experience in Data Science / ML / AI with a preference for startup experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, data pipelines.
- Experience building recommendation systems or predictive models is essential.
- An understanding of behavioral data, health data, or consumer tech analytics is preferred.
- Able to work in ambiguity and build from scratch with a product thinking mindset.
This Role Is Unique:
- Design AI modules across 9 dimensions of human wellness.
- Build structured wellness intelligence architecture and create a measurable wellness scoring system.
- Participate in early product strategy discussions and influence fundraising narratives through AI depth.
