pWe are seeking a skilled Laptop Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and repair capabilities, along with excellent customer communication skills. This role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, replacing faulty components, installing operating systems, and ensuring the proper functionality of repaired laptops.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop hardware & software issues
- Repair and replace components (RAM, SSD, motherboard, keyboard, display, battery)
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows, drivers, basic software)
- Perform system upgrades and data backup/recovery
- Handle customer complaints and provide technical solutions
- Maintain service records and job sheets
- Test laptops after repair to ensure proper functionality
- Support both in-store and on-site service (if required)
