Job Summary
pJoin CME Group as an SRE I and learn how to build, operate, and scale systems behind the world’s leading derivatives marketplace. This is your chance to work alongside senior engineers in a supportive environment, gaining hands-on experience in observability, monitoring, and alerting for critical services.
Responsibilities
- Assist with building out observability, monitoring, and alerting for key services.
- Shadow senior engineers as they partner with product teams to understand reliability and scalability needs for new features.
- Write and maintain basic scripts and tools to reduce toil and improve engineering velocity.
- Contribute to blameless post-mortems to drive continuous improvement.
- Support disaster recovery (DR) and systems resiliency testing.
- Migrate markets applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
