Job Summary
pThe Reimbursement Specialist will join our Rx Connect team to support patients navigating insurance challenges and make their medications more affordable. Responsibilities include communicating with healthcare professionals, verifying insurance coverage, and submitting necessary paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with prescribers and healthcare professionals to assist patients through their treatment journey
- Verify and investigate patient's insurance coverage including eligibility, co-payments, and prior authorizations
- Gather and document information from patients in a professional manner
- Submit and follow up on required paperwork promptly
- Liaise with private and public insurance providers to determine coverage options in Canada
- Maintain confidentiality of patient healthcare information
- Stay updated with changes in insurance coverage policies
