Job Summary
pJoin the dynamic Engineering team at FinBox, a Series B funded fintech company. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing highly reliable backend systems that power our lending platform. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, build automation tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Owning L3 production support for backend applications and services.
- Debugging issues across APIs, microservices, databases, and distributed systems.
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
- Building automation and internal tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborating with Backend, Platform, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to resolve production issues.
- Improving monitoring, observability, and platform reliability.
- Participating in on-call rotations for critical production incidents.

Required Skills Explained

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, CI/CD, or monitoring tools is a plus.
