Job Summary
pThe Global Market Analyst Intern at PipRaisers will work closely with our strategy and research team to interpret macroeconomic signals, analyze intermarket dynamics, and identify tradeable global trends. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates passionate about global macroeconomics.
Responsibilities
- Track macroeconomic events, central bank moves, and geopolitical developments (FOMC, ECB, CPI, GDP, NFP)
- Analyze inter-asset relationships (USD vs. Gold, Oil, Crypto, Risk-on/Risk-off sentiment shifts)
- Contribute to daily/weekly market outlooks, strategy notes, and trading calendars
- Perform sentiment tracking using heatmaps, positioning data, and risk metrics
- Research major FX pairs, commodity contracts, and crypto pairs from a macro perspective
- Assist in backtesting macro-based trade ideas using historical data
- Build concise, data-rich presentation decks and visual summaries for team briefings and client insights
